Making Science, a global digital acceleration consultancy, announced on December 23 the launch of AWAKE Venture Studio. The model is designed to identify, prototype and scale both internal proprietary AI solutions and independent AI-native startups. The studio operates from centers in Chicago, Madrid and Tbilisi.
The company claims to have achieved a 2x acceleration in tech feature development through its internal integration of AI agents. One startup that joined the Making Science ecosystem called ad-machina increased its value by 10 times since integration. AWAKE takes this internal process and makes it repeatable.
The studio's stated approach is to prioritize opportunities where autonomous agents and foundational models provide a 10 times competitive advantage. It combines a distributed operational structure with what Making Science calls a centralized infrastructure backbone to reduce launch time for new ventures.
CEO José Antonio Martínez Aguilar described the launch as a declaration to industrialize the next generation of AI-native solutions. The company says it is using its ad-machina technology, described as an agentic AI marketing platform, as the foundation for how ventures will operate.
